North Penn Animal Hospital was founded in June of 1996 to give our patients excellent medical care and treat them with dignity and compassion. Our Story
Dr. Joseph Rossi founded North Penn Animal Hospital in 1996, determined to build a quality, caring family practice in his local community. Through genuine dedication and hard work, North Penn Animal Hospital has grown substantially because of its hiring strategy based on core values – kindness and compassion for clients and patients.
The North Penn Animal Hospital team is empowered to follow their veterinary medicine dreams through continuous education and staying at the forefront of the latest veterinary medicine offerings. In 2017 we established ourselves as an AAHA-accredited practice. AAHA accreditation means that we have been proven to meet a standard of care that only 10-13% of veterinary practices have achieved. NPAH is a General Practice with state-of-the-art technologies in-house; we can perform X-Rays, Ultrasounds, Echocardiograms, Advanced Surgical and Dental Procedures, Laser Therapy, Semen Freezing, and so much more!

In 2022, North Penn Animal Hospital welcomed Alexa Rossi, Dr.Rossi’s daughter, to join as the practice manager. With the changing environment of veterinary hospitals moving to private equity and corporations, it was essential for the Rossi family to establish NPAH as a compassionate multi-generational Family Business. We look forward to being your full-service veterinarian and serving our community for years to come.
